Federal Agents Found Guns With Scratched Serial Numbers, Drugs, and 56

On March 25, 2024, Homeland Security agents raided Sean “Diddy” Combs’ $48 million estate on Star Island in Miami Beach as part of a federal investigation into alleged racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. Agents arrived by land and sea. The evidence gathered during the raid became central to the ongoing federal trial in Manhattan, where Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to all charges. What Was Found

Homeland Security Special Agent Gerard Gannon, who led the raid, testified about the contents of Combs’ primary bedroom closet. Agents found firearms including AR-15-style rifle parts with scratched-off serial numbers and a loaded .45-caliber handgun. Photographic evidence presented to jurors showed plastic storage bins containing 25 bottles of Johnson’s Baby Oil and 31 bottles of Astroglide lubricant. Other items included sex toys, a rubber duck, red stiletto heels, and lingerie.

Investigators also found multiple cell phones tucked inside a Balenciaga boot. A Gucci bag contained white powder residue that tested positive for cocaine and ketamine, along with pills confirmed to be MDMA and Xanax - some stamped with Tesla logos.

Trial Context

Prosecutors argued the closet’s contents corroborated testimony from Combs’ former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who testified for four days about alleged abuse and coerced participation in drug-fueled sexual encounters with escorts. Combs’ defense challenged the credibility of the search, suggesting items had been arranged to appear more incriminating than they were.

The federal trial in New York was ongoing at the time of initial reporting. If convicted on the racketeering and sex trafficking charges, Combs faces the possibility of decades in federal prison.
