Hayden Panettiere's Boyfriend's Brother Arrested After Bar Fight

Zach Hickerson, the brother of Hayden Panettiere’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson, was arrested after an alleged bar fight in Greenville, South Carolina.

Police said Zach Hickerson appeared highly intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after officers responded to Wild Wing Cafe on Sept. 12.

Police Detained Multiple People

People reported that multiple people, including Brian Hickerson, were detained while officers investigated the incident. Zach was accused of yelling profanities in public and was later released on a $257.50 personal recognizance bond.

Brian Hickerson was not charged in connection with the bar incident, according to the reporting.

The Brothers Were Present When Panettiere Died

Zach and Brian Hickerson were present when actress Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive in August. Neither brother has been charged with a crime in connection with her death.

Authorities have said the investigation into Panettiere’s death remains ongoing. Officials have not released a final cause of death.

Bar Arrest Is a Separate Case

The disorderly conduct case is separate from the investigation into Panettiere’s death. Zach Hickerson has not been accused of causing her death.

The arrest adds a new legal development involving a person already receiving public attention because he was present during the actress’ final hours, but the two matters remain distinct.
